Three presets
Modern
The standard configuration for contemporary Western astrology. Uses Placidus houses, displays all planets (traditional, modern, and sensitive points), and sets orbs on the wider side.
This is a good choice for beginners or anyone who wants their charts to match the conventions found in most books and online resources.
Traditional
A configuration rooted in classical astrology. Uses Whole Sign houses, displays only the traditional planets (Sun through Saturn), and sets orbs tight.
Uranus, Neptune, Pluto, and sensitive points are hidden, letting you focus on classical interpretation techniques.
Evolutionary
A configuration aligned with the evolutionary astrology tradition. Uses Placidus houses, gives weight to the lunar nodes (North Node and South Node) and Pluto, and sets orbs at a moderate range.
This preset suits readers interested in soul growth and past-life themes.
What each preset configures
Every preset changes the following settings at once:
- House system
- Which planets and sensitive points are shown or hidden
- Which aspect types are enabled
- The orb value for each aspect
How to apply a preset
Open Settings and select the Calculation Presets option. Choose the preset you want and all of the above settings are overwritten immediately.
