Home Page

The dashboard showing the current sky, your personal transit alerts, and today's key.

The home page has two roles. For visitors without an account, it displays a chart of the sky right now. For logged-in users with primary birth data set, it also displays current transit alerts and today’s key against that natal chart.

Home page overview

Page layout

Once you are signed in, the home page is laid out in two columns: the chart on the left, and today’s key plus your transit alerts on the right. On desktop it fits in a single view, so you can take everything in without scrolling. On mobile the columns stack vertically.

The header at the top shows today’s date and the day’s moon phase — its icon and name.

The current sky (no account needed)

Without signing in, the home page shows a chart of the sky right now. This is not a personal natal chart — it shows the live positions of celestial bodies at that moment.

Personal transit alerts (when signed in)

When you are signed in and have primary birth data set, the home page lines up cards showing the transits currently active against your chart. For example, “Transit Saturn square your natal Moon.”

The alert orb (how close an aspect needs to be to count) is adjustable under Settings → Reading & interface, in the Personal Transit Alerts section. Narrow it down for near-exact aspects only, or widen it to surface looser contacts. For more on orbs, see Points and aspects.

To set your primary birth data, see Managing birth data.

Today’s key

The “today’s key” panel on the right is a quick read of the current sky. It lists:

  • Sun sign — the sign the Sun is in today.
  • Moon sign — the sign the Moon is in today.
  • Retrogrades — the major planets currently retrograde (or “none”).

Next steps

Registering your birth data unlocks the personal chart views — the Single Wheel (your natal chart) and the Triple Wheel (with transits and progressions overlaid). Add it from “Birth data” in the left sidebar. See Managing birth data to get started.
