  1. Zodiac signs — the 12 signs
  2. Planets — what each celestial body means
  3. Houses — the 12 areas of life
  4. Aspects — how planets relate

How this guide is organized

The guide is divided into five sections.

  • Getting Started — First steps with the app, including how to navigate the home page and register birth data.
  • Feature Guide — Detailed walkthroughs for the Single Wheel, Triple Wheel, synastry charts, compatibility scores, the ephemeris, and more.
  • Settings — How to customize the app, from changing the house system to selecting which planets and aspects to display.
  • Astrology Basics — A reference covering the 12 zodiac signs, planets, houses, and aspects.
  • Connecting AI Tools — How to connect HOSHIDOU to Claude or ChatGPT via MCP, available on the 星導き (Hoshimichibiki) plan.

Settings

The app ships with sensible defaults. Once you are comfortable, customize the house system, aspect orbs, and chart colors.

What the free plan covers

You can start on HOSHIDOU without paying. The free Hoshiyomi plan gives you the single wheel, the triple wheel, synastry and every level of the reading guide, and it saves up to 5 birth data entries. The astromap, the advanced charts (composite, solar return and the rest), compatibility scores and the MCP AI connection are paid-plan features. During the current beta, every feature is free.
