1. About These Terms

These terms set out the conditions for using HOSHIDOU ("the Service"), provided by HOSHIDOU Operations ("we" or "the Company"). By using the Service, you agree to these terms.

2. Service Description

The Service is a web application for calculating and displaying Western astrology charts. It offers twelve chart types including natal, triple-wheel, and synastry charts, along with astrocartography maps, an ephemeris, and AI-written reports available for purchase. Features may be added or changed over time.

3. Accounts and User Obligations

Users are responsible for providing accurate information and maintaining the security of their accounts. Passwords must be kept confidential and not shared with third parties.

4. Paid Plans (Subscriptions)

In addition to the free plan, the Service offers paid subscription plans. Prices are listed on the Commercial Disclosure page.

Paid plans are charged at sign-up and renew automatically at the chosen interval (monthly or yearly).

You can cancel at any time. After cancellation, access continues until the end of the current billing period. No prorated refunds are given for mid-period cancellation.

If you switch to a lower plan, data created on a higher plan is not deleted. However, data and features beyond the scope of the new plan may become unavailable for viewing or editing.

5. Report Purchases

Reports are one-time digital products written by AI. You are charged when the purchase is completed, and generation starts immediately after payment.

Because reports are digital products, they cannot be refunded once generation has started. If generation fails, we regenerate the report; if it still cannot be delivered, we issue a refund.

6. Gifts

Reports can be sent as gifts. The recipient needs a free Hoshidou account to receive one, and the gift link is valid for one year from issue. If a gift is not claimed within that period, please contact us.

7. AI-Generated Content

Reports and reading texts are generated by AI (large language models). We do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of generated content.

Astrological interpretations are offered for reflection and reference. They are not medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice. Important decisions remain your own judgment and responsibility.

8. Prohibited Uses

• · Unauthorized use or reverse engineering of the Service
• · Harassment of other users
• · Excessive automated access
• · Unauthorized redistribution or resale of purchased reports
• · Use for illegal purposes

9. Account Suspension and Deletion

Accounts may be suspended or deleted without prior notice for violations of these terms. Users may delete their account at any time from account settings. Deleting your account ends any paid plan, and no refund is given for the remaining period.

10. Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is." We make no guarantees regarding the accuracy of chart calculations.

11. Limitation of Liability

Except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence on our part, we are not liable for damages arising from use of the Service. Where we are held liable, our liability is limited to the amount you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim (excepting willful misconduct or gross negligence on our part).

12. Changes to Terms

These terms may be updated to reflect changes in our services or applicable law. We will announce any material changes through the app or website before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan. Any disputes arising in connection with the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Yokohama District Court, which has jurisdiction over the Company's principal place of business, as the court of first instance.
