Readings
How to adjust tooltip information depth with reading levels. Customize the display from beginner-friendly interpretations to data-only for experts.
Reading levels let you adjust how much information chart tooltips display based on your experience. Beginners see detailed interpretations, while advanced users see just the essential data.
Reading Levels
HOSHIDOU offers four tooltip information levels.
Beginner
The most detailed mode. In addition to basic descriptions and keywords, tooltips show personalized reading text based on your chart. Readings explain what placements like "Sun in Aries" or "Moon in the 7th house" mean through relatable, everyday descriptions.
Recommended for those learning astrology or wanting to deeply understand their chart.
Intermediate (Default)
Tooltips show the short description, keywords, and placement details (sign, degree, house). No reading text is displayed.
Best for those with basic astrology knowledge who understand the planets but still want placement references.
Advanced
Tooltips show only placement information (sign, degree, house). Descriptions and keywords are hidden.
A minimal display mode for experienced astrologers.
Off
Disables tooltips entirely.
