Feature Guide
Chart Export
How to export charts as PNG or PDF files.
The chart export feature lets you save your charts as image files or PDFs. This is useful when you want to print a chart, share it on social media, or send it to someone by email.
Export Formats
You can choose from four formats depending on your needs.
| Format | What it includes | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Wheel-only PNG | Just the chart wheel as an image | Social media posts and quick sharing |
| Wheel-only PDF | Just the chart wheel as a PDF | Printing or sending to clients |
| Full-page PNG | The entire page including tables as an image | Sharing detailed data at a glance |
| Full-page PDF | The entire page including tables as a PDF | Creating reports or archiving records |
How to Export
- Open any chart view (Single Wheel, Triple Wheel, Synastry Chart, etc.)
- Click the Export button in the toolbar
- Choose your preferred format from the dropdown
- The file downloads automatically
That is all there is to it - no extra configuration needed.
File Naming
Exported files are automatically named with the person's name and date.
Example: 太郎_natal_2024-01-01.png
The file name includes the person's name, the chart type, and the date, making it easy to locate files later.
Display Settings Are Included
The exported chart reflects your current display settings. If you have hidden certain planets or changed the house system, the export will show exactly what you see on screen. It is a good idea to review the chart before exporting to make sure everything looks the way you want.
