Reading your Hoshidou chart from Claude or ChatGPT
Connect your Hoshidou account to Claude or ChatGPT and the AI reads your actual natal chart, so you can read your horoscope in conversation. The software calculates, the AI interprets, the astrologer delivers.

If you have ever asked an AI about your horoscope, you have probably felt this at least once: what comes back is all generalities. The reason is plain. The AI doesn’t have your actual natal chart. Tell it your birthday and you still get little more than newspaper sun-sign astrology.
Hoshidou’s 星導き (Hoshimichibiki) plan has a feature that changes this. Connect your Hoshidou account to Claude or ChatGPT, and the AI reads your natal chart directly, then reads your horoscope with you inside the conversation.

Once connected, the work splits into three.
Calculating the chart is the software’s job, something like Hoshidou. Placing the planets to the arcsecond is what an astrology engine is for.
Reading that accurate data is the AI you connected. Out of an enormous number of placements, it picks up the threads of meaning.
And choosing, from all of that, what truly needs to be said to the person in front of you, then handing it over: that is the astrologer’s work.
What a reading is becoming
I think AI is going to become something astrology readings can’t do without.
Astrology is a huge pile of data. Inside a single chart, planets, signs, houses, and aspects tangle in dozens of ways, and the combinations run to staggering numbers. Out of that, you want to reliably pick the pieces that actually help the client in front of you and hand them over. That is what a reading is really trying to do.
Until now, astrologers carried even the work of reading those mountains of patterns, by hand and by head. Software and charts lay the groundwork, and from there a person analyzes it logically. But catching every one of those countless combinations without dropping any is really more the territory of AI and software.
What only a person can do lies past that point. Out of everything the AI and the software surface, you choose what should be said to this person today and hand it over in words and at a moment that land. What works here is intuition and inspiration more than logical analysis. The same placement, with a different person in front of you, changes what you say and how. That judgment stays a human job.
The software calculates, the AI interprets, and the astrologer delivers. As the roles divide like this, astrologers get their hands free of data processing and can pour themselves into the part that matters most: facing the person. Connecting Hoshidou to an AI is a first step into that flow.
What you can ask the AI
Once connected, you can call Hoshidou’s chart features from the AI. No difficult terms needed. In everyday words, you can ask things like:
- “Pull up so-and-so’s single wheel and tell me what kind of person they’d be drawn to.”
- “Look at the synastry between me and so-and-so and tell me what stands out.”
- “Lay the current transits over my natal chart and list what’s notable for the month ahead.”
- “Save this reading as a memo.”
Love, how you click with someone, the flow of the past month: you can ask about whatever is on your mind, just as it is. Listing your saved birth data, calculating the various charts, pulling up saved charts and existing reports, all of it is on the table inside the conversation. As in the last example, you can also leave what the AI read as a memo in Hoshidou, kept per person.
How to connect
To connect, you add a connector (an external integration) in your AI client’s settings, enter Hoshidou’s URL as the destination, and log in. The screen differs a little by client, but the flow is the same. The steps are gathered on the guidebook’s Connecting AI Tools page.
